Man in court over cannabis farm in ex-British Legion club

A man has appeared in court following the discovery of a cannabis farm in a former Royal British Legion club in the Borders.
Police officers raided the disused premises in High Street, Jedburgh, shortly before 00:00 on Tuesday.
Logesh Sellapan, 27, of no fixed abode, appeared in private at the town's sheriff court charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and the production of cannabis.
He made no plea and the case was continued for further examination. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again next week.
