Crash witness appeal after two treated at hospital

Sussex Police said two cars were involved in the Ditchling crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash which left two people needing hospital treatment.

A silver Mercedes C180 and a blue Isuzu D-Max V-Cross were involved in the crash on Clayton Road, Ditchling, Sussex Police said.

The Isuzu was reported to have been stationary at the time of the crash on the eastbound carriageway at about 16:50 GMT on 4 March.

A force spokesperson said: "The driver and passenger of the Mercedes sustained injuries and attended hospital for treatment. Both have since been discharged."

Sussex Police asked anyone who witnessed the incident or with footage of it to make a report to the force.
