Man, 27, taken to hospital after street disturbance

A 27-year-old man has been treated in hospital after he was injured in a street disturbance near Stirling.

Police Scotland said officers were called to Main Street, Doune, at about 17:35 on Saturday.

The force declined to comment on local reports that the man was stabbed.

A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear before Stirling Sheriff Court on Monday
