Bomb squad called to 'unexploded device'

There is a police cordon in place on Kings Weston Lane near the junction for Merebank Road.

Bomb disposal experts examined a suspected unexploded device, which was found during construction works earlier.
Avon and Somerset Police attended Kings Weston Lane in Avonmouth, Bristol, at about 14:09 BST after the item was discovered.
Officers set up a safety cordon while the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team attended the scene.
Kings Weston Lane has now re-opened.
