Firefighters were called out to deal with a car fire in a town centre.

Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue said it was called to Dyer Street in Cirencester at 13:30 BST to reports of a car fire.

A spokesperson for the service said one fire engine from Fairford was sent to the scene and two hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus were used.

The fire was put out at about 14:30, it added, and the car was "90% damaged" by the flames.
