Woman attacked after garden furniture smashed

Three people have been arrested after a woman was assaulted and left with a fractured eye, police have said.
The attack happened after a woman heard people smashing garden furniture outside her home on Townsend Street in Truro at about 01:40 BST on 13 August, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
When she went outside to ask them to stop, she was kicked and punched several times by the group, leaving her with serious injuries, the force said.
Officers arrested a 22-year-old man and 17-year-old girl from Truro on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, while a 37-year-old woman from Truro was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. All three were released on bail.
