Police are investigating a shooting near a school in the West Midlands.
Officers were called to reports of a shot being fired on Sandgate Road in Tipton at about 15:30 BST on Friday, West Midlands Police said.
"Thankfully no one was injured," a spokesperson added.
The force said it understood the concern in the community, given the proximity of Glebefields Primary School.
"Students, parents and staff were kept on school grounds whilst police attended and made the area safe," it added.
The force has called on anyone with relevant information or footage from dashcams or doorbell cameras to get in contact.
