Man and teen held over ram raid and burglaries

A man and a teenage boy have been arrested after a series of burglaries including a ram raid at a shop in Leeds.
A stolen VW Golf and a Hyundai were used in the burglary at the Morrisons Daily store in Armley, which was targeted at about 03:15 GMT.
Following a police pursuit, both vehicles were recovered and identified as having been stolen in a burglary in Pudsey in the early hours of Monday.
West Yorkshire Police said the cars were being linked to a number of other offences, including a knifepoint robbery at an industrial unit in Bramley as well as burglaries at the Cardigan Arms pub in Bramley and Morrisons Daily store in Pudsey, all of which happened in the early hours of Monday.

Police said other more recent offences included an attempted burglary at Gull's convenience store in Bramley and a burglary at the Fairfield Local store, also in Bramley, both of which were targeted in the early hours.
A force spokesperson said the 47-year-old man and 17-year-old boy remained in custody.
