Man, 70, dies in A14 crash involving car and lorry

A man has died in a crash that shut a busy road for 13 hours.
Emergency services were called to the A14 near Stowmarket at 16:20 GMT on Sunday following the crash involving a black Jaguar XJ Sport and a MAN lorry parked in a layby.
The driver of the Jaguar, a 70-year-old man, died at the scene and a female passenger was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, with a potentially life-changing leg injury.
The crash happened between junctions 49 and 50 on the westbound carriageway. The road remained closed until 05:25 GMT on Monday.
