Police have launched an appeal after a pedestrian in his 70s was hit by a car in Leicester.
Leicestershire Police said it was called to Gipsy Lane, close to the junction with Rosedale Avenue, in Rushey Mead, at about 17:30 BST on Wednesday after a man was hit by a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The force said the man remained in hospital, where he was receiving treatment for injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
No-one was arrested, but inquiries to establish the circumstances of what happened were continuing, police added.
PC Steve Williams said: "I'd like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident but who has not yet spoken to police.
"In particular, I'd like to speak to motorists who were in the area and have a dashcam in their vehicle or who captured anything on a doorbell or CCTV camera."
