A car was left stuck to a lamp-post following a crash in Hull.

Emergency services were called to the collision involving a black Audi and a silver car on Jendale, near Bransholme, at about 15:30 BST on Sunday.

Humberside Police said a car had collided into a stationary vehicle and "the collision caused the stationary vehicle to subsequently crash into a lamp-post".

No-one was injured, the force said. Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said a cordon was put in place, adding firefighters used "small tools to make one vehicle safe".

Hull City Council said it "acted quickly to ensure the lighting column was made safe" and added that "operatives will return in due course to replace the column".
