Road closures for tree removal after storm damage

Several roads have been closed for the removal of trees damaged by gales as part of the clear-up following Storm Darragh.

The Department of Infrastructure said a section of the TT course would be closed in two phases, firstly between Ballig and Cronk-y-Voddy until 12:00 GMT.

The second closure would be from Ballacraine to Ballig Bridge until 14:00.

Emergency closures were also in place on the Colby Glen Road until 15:30, Ballachrink Road in East Baldwin until 16:00, and a stretch between Laxey and Baldrine.

The department said temporary two-way traffic lights would be in place close to the Ballabeg tram crossing until 15:30.
