It has been 100 years since a 6,000-year-old ancient chamber in Jersey was discovered.
The Neolithic passage grave at La Hougue Bie was uncovered by Société Jersiaise archaeologists in 1924.
It is one of the oldest Neolithic sites in the world.
Jersey Heritage archaeologist Olga Finch said it was an important discovery.
She said: "It's the largest and best preserved Neolithic passage grave in the world and I think we are so lucky to have such a really important and internationally significant dolmen on the island.
"It was a place for a celebration for the Neolithic community to come together."
Events were held earlier in September to mark the centenary.
