Man seriously injured in A38 crash

The A38 was closed northbound but has since reopened

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A38 in Derbyshire.
Police said the collision happened at about 13:40 BST near to the slip road from Ripley towards Alfreton at Watchorn Roundabout.
National Highways said the northbound side of the road was closed between the A610 Hartshay Interchange to the A61 but was back open by about 17:15.
The body added that vehicle recovery and clear-up work was complete but advised drivers to allow time for delays.
