Thousands are set to march through Leicester in a free celebration of diversity and inclusion.
Leicester Pride will mark its 16th year on Saturday with a parade starting from Humberstone Gate from 12:00 BST.
The colourful 1.7 mile (2.7km) procession will head along Gallowtree Gate, Horsefair Street, Hotel Street and past Leicester Cathedral to Jubilee Square, before heading up High Street to the Clock Tower and on to Belgrave Gate.
From here the Pride parade will head to the main celebration at Abbey Park where organisers said there would be stages, a fun fair, food vendors, bar and stalls, with the last entry at 19:00 BST.
A free bus service to the site will run throughout the day leaving from the Rainbow and Dove on Charles Street.
The main stage at Abbey Park is headlined by tributes to Britney Spears, Dolly Parton and Queen, and there is a separate dance arena.
A spokesperson for Leicester Pride said: “Leicester Pride is Leicester’s annual lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival, held at the beginning of September each year.
“The event is attended by more than 10,000 people each year with more than 2,000 taking part in the parade through the city.”
