Major road reopens following 'serious' crash

Police said the crash involved "multiple vehicles"

Part of the A1 in Nottinghamshire was closed overnight following a "serious" crash involving multiple vehicles.
At about 20:00 GMT on Sunday, Nottinghamshire Police said the northbound carriageway was closed between the Five Lane End junction, for Clumber Park near Worksop, and Blyth.
It was subsequently closed in both directions but reopened at about 06:30 on Monday.
There are currently no details of any injuries or the number of vehicles involved.
