Car passenger, 81, dies after two-vehicle crash

An 81-year-old male passenger in a car has died following a crash with another vehicle.
A blue Humber and a white Toyota Prius crashed at the junction of Epping Road and Coopersale Common in Epping, at about 09:35 BST on Tuesday.
Two men, the 79-year-old driver of the Humber and his passenger, were taken to Royal London hospital with serious injuries, but the 81-year-old later died.
Essex Police has appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage "that could be vital" to the investigation.
