A 30-year-old man has been charged over a crash that killed a teenage girl in Bangor.

Jaidyn Rice, who was 16, died at the scene after being hit by a car on the West Circular Road in Bangor at about 22:55 BST Tuesday 8 July.

Police said the man had been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and a number of other offences.

He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on Tuesday 29 July.
