A family-friendly festival celebrating Caribbean and African music has been cancelled because of bad weather.

The Caribbean and African Music Family Fun Day was due to take place on Sunday at Jersey's Howard Davis Park.

Organisers said they were "disappointed" but attendees' "safety and well-being must always come first".

They said: "We're committed to bringing this event back stronger than ever, so we can once again celebrate community, culture, and togetherness."
