Man in hospital after crash involves ambulance
Police said an 88-year-old local man had serious injuries

An 88-year-old man has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involved two cars and an ambulance, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the collision took place on the A39 between Roundswell, Barnstaple and Bideford at about 13:10 GMT on Tuesday.
The force said the crash involved a Mitsubishi L200, a Ford Mondeo and a Fiat Ducato ambulance owned by the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
It said the 88-year-old man was local and had been airlifted to Derriford Hospital, while two other drivers had minor injuries.
Police said the road had been closed until 21:00.
They have asked for anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
