Eight ducklings rescued from drain by fire service

Firefighters were called to Walton on the Naze to save the trapped ducklings

Eight ducklings were rescued after a passer-by heard "quacking" coming from a drain.
Firefighters from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service arrived at Kirby Road, Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex, at 07:22 BST on Thursday.
Station manager Ryan Ainger said he was "delighted" the ducklings have been reunited with their mother.
He said: "Crews from Frinton arrived and we were able to remove the drain cover and scoop out the eight ducklings."
