Cyclist dies after late night crash with bus

A cyclist has died in south-east London after a collision with a bus, the Met Police has said.

The force added emergency services were called to Westferry Road, near Arnhem Place in the Isle of Dogs, at about 00:30 GMT on Saturday to reports of a road traffic collision.

The cyclist, aged in his 40s, died at the scene. He has not been named and officers are trying to locate his next-of-kin.

The driver of the bus stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
