Investigation after woman found in high street dies

Police have launched an investigation into the death of a woman who was found unresponsive on a Kent high street.

Officers and ambulance crews were called to Ashford High Street at 23:20 GMT on Thursday night.

The victim was later pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB).

Kent Police say the death is being treated as unexplained and officers remain in the area to carry out enquiries.
