Dance-a-thon raises money for girl with cancer

A primary school has held an eight-hour dance-a-thon to raise money for a pupil undergoing treatment for cancer.
Piper started at Woodlands Primary School in Telford in September and head teacher Yvonne Crilly said they wanted to do something to help her family.
Her teacher Sarah Riley, described her as "an absolute joy" to have in the classroom and they decided on a Disney and princess theme, because she loves dancing and Disney.
The school said it would take time to count the money, but hundreds of pounds had been donated, including £150 by a boy who dressed up as Elsa from Frozen.
Ms Crilly said Piper had only been with them a short time and it had been interrupted by cancer treatments, but she had "melted hearts" when she stood up and danced in front of everyone in assembly.
She was diagnosed with cancer aged three and another teacher, Helen Archer, said people had been "incredibly generous" in their support of the dance-a-thon.
"Piper has touched so many people's hearts and everybody is just extremely motivated," she said.
Logan, who dressed up as Elsa, said he "just wanted to do something to help Piper".
The event also featured an appearance by an actor dressed as Elsa and Ms Riley said Piper "ran straight over to her and had such an amazing time".
Ms Archer said: "We just want to give her some very typical childhood experiences because we know she hasn't had those."
