Two arrested after drugs worth £3,000 seized

Drugs worth an estimated £3,000 have been seized from an address in Telford.

West Mercia Police officers found Class A drugs estimated to be worth £2,500, Class B drugs worth an estimated £500, and a quantity of cash at Sutton Hill Court.

Two men, aged 21 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

"The warrant today shows we will not tolerate drugs within our community and will continue to act on information given to us," said Det Sgt Andy Pond of West Mercia Police.

The two men remain in police custody.
