Bed and Breakfast could be converted into flats

Plans have been lodged to convert a bed & breakfast hotel into several new flats and houses of multiple occupation (HMOs).
The Oak House Hotel, on Broad Green, Wellingborough, stretches across three adjoining buildings.
If North Northamptonshire Council approves the application, the 14-bed facility will add an extra two bedrooms.
Three separate planning applications have been submitted across the three buildings.
One of the buildings, external will be converted into HMOs, while another, external, which is currently the hotel entrance, bar area and kitchen will be converted into two self-contained studio flats.
The third building, external is the largest and could be split into a two-bed flat and a seven-bed HMO, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
The ground floor would be split between the two-bedroom flat at the rear and the HMO at the front of the house.
In total, eight parking spaces will be available for tenants at the back of the building. On-street parking is also available directly outside the B&B and extends further down the street.
Plans were first submitted to the council in February this year and have a decision deadline of 8 August.
