Vacant hall to be turned into apartments

Work to restore a 300-year-old hall in Nottinghamshire is due to get under way.
The Grade II-listed Ollerton Hall, in Ollerton, is being turned into eight apartments.
Keys have been handed over to developers with work scheduled to begin on Monday.
The hall, in Main Street, is thought to have been vacant for the past 50 years but Newark and Sherwood District Council said the restoration would maintain the building's "historic character" and features.
Conservation works will take place on the site over the next five months before transformative work properly begins on the building.
Council leader Paul Peacock said: "It was important to use that plans for [the hall] were respectful and protective.
"I'm looking forward to seeing the building brought back to life in a way that retains its integrity, while bringing it up to date in terms of safety and practicality."
