Bournemouth Air Festival is under way, with thousands expected to descend on the seaside town over the three-day event.

Favourites returning to the festival this year, which began on Thursday, include the Typhoon, Rich Goodwin's Jet Pitts and the AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers.

New attractions for 2024 include an outdoor cinema on the beach and a virtual-reality RNLI Lifeboat experience.

The Red Arrows, who are on tour in Canada, are missing from this year's line-up.
