Six men were arrested after the fight

Three people were injured in a fight in a Derby street in the early hours of Friday.

Two men suffered stab wounds and another man sustained a head injury in a fight between two groups of men in Middleton Street, Normanton, at about 01:15 BST.

Six men - three in their 20s, one in his 30s and two in their 50s - have been arrested, said Derbyshire Police, and remain in custody.

The force added the two groups were "known to one another" and police were treating the fight as an "isolated incident".

A police cordon was set up following the incident which remained in place into Friday afternoon.
