Man charged with murder of 65-year-old

Jason Trundle appeared before Telford magistrates

A man has been charged with murder over the death of a 65-year-old last year.

West Mercia Police said Leon Pratt was found dead in his home in Hollinswood, Telford, on 26 October 2024 after concerns were raised for his welfare.

Jason Trundle, 51, of no fixed address, was charged on Thursday with murder, preventing a lawful burial and fraud by false representation.

He appeared before Telford Magistrates Court and has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on Friday.
