Man charged with arson after Worcester fire

A man has been charged by police after a fire at Brookthorpe Close, Worcester

A man has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life after a fire at a property in Worcestershire, police have said.

The charges against Teijaon Doras, 20, of Birmingham, relate to a fire at an address at Brookthorpe Close, Worcester on Monday 25 August.

Three people were inside the property at the time but were uninjured.

Mr Doras has also been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs following a search of a property carried out in connection with inquiries into the arson.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said Nicola Harding, 52, of Monkscroft in Cheltenham, had also been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs following the same search.

Both individuals have been remanded and are set to appear at Worcester Crown Court on 5 November.
