Attempted murder arrests after serious disorder

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following serious disorder in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Police said officers were called to Arbour Drive, Bilston, at just after 06:00 BST, with three people taken to hospital for injuries not thought to be life-threatening,

There were reports of large-scale disorder involving a number of people and bladed weapons.

The force said it would like to reassure the public that it believed this to be a targeted attack.

Det Insp Adam Keen said: "A number of teams came together to make quick arrests, and our investigation is moving quickly as we establish exactly what happened.

"We have already spoken to a number of witnesses and are gathering CCTV, and if anyone has more information, I'd urge them to get in touch."
