Two charged with attempted murder over stabbing

A man and a woman have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in central Bristol.

The incident occurred at a property in Jamaica Street, Stokes Croft, on 27 September, said Avon and Somerset Police.

A man, aged in his 40s, required hospital treatment for a stab wound and was discharged earlier this week.

Mark Grinnall, 51, of no fixed address, and Katrina Henson, 47, of Bishopsworth, south Bristol, have been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

They are due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
