A woman has died after a fire at a house in West Yorkshire.
Police and the fire service were called to an address on Regina Crescent in Havercroft, Wakefield, at about 17:45 GMT on Monday, to reports that a woman was trapped inside.
She was rescued from the property and treated for her injuries at the scene, but died a short time later.
West Yorkshire Police said an investigation into the cause of the fire was under way, but it was not thought to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from South Kirkby, Wakefield and Pontefract used breathing apparatus and hose reels to rescue one female occupant from the house, who was passed to the care of ambulance colleagues.
"Our fire investigation team remain at the scene today."
