An 18-year-old man has been charged after a teenager was stabbed near a fast-food restaurant in Nottingham.

Police were called to Hucknall Lane in Bulwell, near KFC, on Sunday afternoon, where officers found the injured 17-year-old boy.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and was later discharged, officers said.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Police said a 17-year-old boy, who was previously arrested on suspicion of affray, had been released on conditional bail.

A third suspect - a 19-year-old man - remains in custody after being arrested on Monday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
