Man faces assault charges after A&E evacuated

A man has appeared in court charged with assault after the emergency department of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary was evacuated and temporarily closed.
Police and fire crews had responded to the incident on Friday evening.
Piotr Huczynski, 37, of Aberdeen, appeared at the city's sheriff court to face 14 allegations, including assaults, two firearms charges, as well as driving and drug charges.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
