Police are searching for two balaclava-clad bike riders who injured a girl and rode off.

The girl was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after she was knocked over on Endsleigh Drive in Middlesbrough on Friday at about 17:30 GMT, Cleveland Police said.

The riders of the bicycle, believed to be electric, did not stop and rode off towards Levick Crescent.

The force said "lots of people would have been out trick or treating for Halloween" and urged any witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage to get in touch.
