Teen suffers life-changing injuries in crash

A 17-year-old pedestrian has been left with life-threatening injuries following a crash.

The collision occurred just after 21:00 BST on Friday on Wood Road in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, and involved a white hatchback, Avon and Somerset Police said.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital and their injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

The driver is assisting with inquiries and police are asking anyone with information to get in touch. No-one arrests have been made.
