Farnham residents have been invited to vote on the final design for a new play area at Sandy Hill.

Six "innovative and engaging" designs have been put forward, said Waverley Borough Council.

The plans are partially based on feedback from local children who said they wanted more opportunities to climb, swing and slide, alongside calls from residents for play equipment to be more inclusive for disabled children.

"The involvement of local residents has been at the heart of this project, and has led to the creation of some wonderful design options," said Waverley councillor Kika Mirylees.

'Pick your favourite'

"From climbing structures to interactive play zones, each design has been developed with input from local families, so they really reflect the preferences and needs of our local community.

"All that remains is for you to pick your favourite, so if you live in the Sandy Hill area of Farnham, please make sure you have your say," she added.

The vote will inform the evaluation process by the local authority, which will then oversee the installation of the play area.
