A motorcyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing into a lamp-post, police said.

It happened at about 18:00 BST on Saturday on Noddle Hill Way, close to the junction with Hucknall Garth, in the Bransholme area of Hull.

The 26-year-old was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition, officers added.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact Humberside Police.
