Plymouth man pleads not guilty to murdering woman

A 61-year-old man appeared in court earlier to deny murdering a 54-year-old woman in Plymouth last year.
Mark Fitzgerald, of Rendle Street, Plymouth, pleaded not guilty to murdering Lisa Paris between 7 and 18 March 2024.
Mr Fitzgerald appeared in front of Plymouth Crown Court via a prison video link.
Police said he will go on trial in November and the case could last two weeks. He has been remanded in custody.
