Woman suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving her bike and a car.

Essex Police was called to Manor Road, Chigwell, at about 15:10 GMT.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area as the road was set to be closed for some time.

Anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to get in touch with the force.
