Three people have been seriously injured after a crash near a train station.

At about 00:45 BST a black Audi hit a Mercedes taxi parked at a bus stop on the A1307, opposite Huntingdon railway station in Cambridgeshire.

The Audi driver, a 23-year-old man from Peterborough, was arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving and taken to hospital.

A 21-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man also remained in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Police have appealed for more information.
