An investigation is under way following an incident in Herm, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has said.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the foreshore at the west side of Herm at about 15:00 BST on 19 July, said Ambulance and Rescue Guernsey, which did not give further details of what had happened.

It said the Flying Christine III, a marine ambulance, transported an injured patient to St Peter Port in Guernsey before they were taken to hospital.

Guernsey Police said the person involved was released from hospital last week.

A police spokesperson added: "Officers attended Herm to support with the medivac from the island and to examine the scene of the incident and conduct initial enquiries.

"Those enquiries have now closed."

The HSE said an inquiry was "ongoing", adding it was unable to "comment further at this stage".
