Mum 'exhausted' by further delay to PC's inquest

The mother of a police officer who died in Greece says she is "exhausted mentally and physically" as her daughter's inquest faces a further delay.
A coroner will adjourn the inquest of Hannah Byrne, from Horley, Surrey, for another six months on Wednesday, the BBC understands.
The 22-year-old died in September 2023 while on holiday in Kavos, Corfu, from a fatal head injury after falling from height, but a UK coroner has told her family that an inquest cannot take place until Greek authorities complete a criminal investigation.
Greek police said prosecutors were prohibited from disclosing any information to third parties.
Sarah Warner, Ms Byrne's mother, said the family was exhausted but that they must "keep pushing for Hannah".

Sarah Warner and Ollie Byrne said they were considering flying to Corfu to meet local prosecutors
Ms Byrne's brother, Ollie Byrne, said: "First of all it's six months, then a year, and then we just don't know when the end's going to be."
He said that he felt "quite let down from all involved".
"It's now really starting to take a toll on us as a family, but I know we're not going to give up until we get the right answers that we need and do right by Hannah," he added.
Ms Byrne was a serving PC in Reigate before she died.
She was a third-generation police officer, following in the footsteps of her mother and grandfather.
The coroner had already delayed the inquest, which opened two weeks after Ms Byrne's death, in May.

Greek authorities believe her injuries, sustained outside a bar, were compatible with an "accidental" fall, but Ms Byrne's family has seen CCTV showing her climbing a ladder to the roof of a building with two other people.
The family previously said Greek police still had not interviewed those people.
Ms Warner said the family was "looking at possibly going back to Corfu" to try and meet with local prosecutors.
The family wants to "push things forwards", she added, and let prosecutors know "that there is a family behind Hannah, there is a family that is waiting for answers".
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said it was supporting the family of a British woman who has died in Greece and was in contact with the local authorities.
