A Victorian-themed Christmas event is returning to Hull later this month.

The event in the Old Town area on 23 and 24 November, between 11:00 and 16:00 GMT, is expected to feature costumed characters, a traditional fairground, craft workshops and music performances by local choir groups.

This year is the second time the event has been held over two days and Hull City Council described it as "a wonderful event and always incredibly well attended".

Councillor Rob Pritchard added: "Our Old Town lends itself perfectly to the theme and I know visitors really enjoy traveling back in time to enjoy Victorian Christmas activities.”
