A memorial service for parents and families who have experienced baby loss will be held later this month.
The annual event, held by The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, is for people who have lost a baby at any stage of pregnancy, birth or infancy.
All parents and families who have suffered the loss of a baby, regardless of gestation, are invited to attend the service on Sunday 19 October at 14:30 BST.
It will be held at St Patrick's RC Church in Wolverhampton, with families of faith and no faith welcome to attend.
The service will contain music by the NHS trust's staff choir, as well as a space for reflection, poems and readings.
Families can also expect to meet with the trust's chaplaincy team, alongside specialist bereavement midwives and nurses and other neonatal and maternity staff.
The service takes place in the days following Baby Loss Awareness Week 2025.
Kirsty Malcolm, specialist midwife for bereavement services, said: "The memorial service means so much to families. This is a uplifting event for people to come together and remember their babies."
The Reverend Joe Fielder, lead chaplain for the NHS trust, added: "As chaplains we know how important it is for parents and families to have 'stepping stones' for remembrance, to grieve well and to recover and grow.
"This memorial service gives a sacred space and time for all that to happen. It is so important that we do this as a trust."
