Staveley Road would become one-way under the council's plans

People are being asked for their views on new one-way and parking restrictions around Molineux Stadium.

The plans are being considered to improve traffic flow, parking disputes and vehicle damage.

Staveley Road, Dunstall Road and Leicester Street would all get sections of one-way travel, with a matchday parking permit scheme extended.

A consultation is under way until 6 September.

The proposals include the introduction of a one-way system southbound along Staveley Road, with a ban on turning right onto Waterloo Road.

Leicester Street would also become one-way between Staveley Road and Gloucester Street.

Both streets would see the removal of some double yellow lines, leading to an increase in on-street parking.

Matchday parking permits would extend further north along Dunstall Road, as well as parts of Craddock Street, Evans Street, Jackson Street, Lowe Street and Devoran Close.

If the scheme were to be implemented, there would be a two-week grace period during which motorists breaking the rules would receive warning notices rather than fixed penalty notices.

A drop-in session will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Dunstall Road, on 6 September between 10:00 and 19:00 BST.
