Police in Guernsey are attempting to find the owner of two dogs after one of them reportedly knocked a girl to the ground.
Officers said it happened about 08:00 BST on 11 October near the Castel School at the Rue St Germain Nature Reserve.
The man was described as being white, having a medium build with mousy brown/greying hair on the sides and bald on top, wearing a brown T-shirt and jeans, Guernsey Police said.
The force said one of the dogs was off its lead and began jumping at a nine-year-old girl on her way to school, knocking her to the ground.
The dogs were described as one large brown dog and a beige smaller dog with scraggly hair.
Anyone with information was asked to contact police.
