Theatre ranked in top 10% of Tripadvisor attractions

A theatre has been ranked among the "top 10%" of destinations on Tripadvisor.
The Ipswich Regent Theatre has been awarded a Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award for the second year in a row.
The award is given based on positive reviews and ratings on the tourism website.
Ipswich Borough Council said being placed in the "top 10% of worldwide attractions" was a "remarkable achievement".
In reviews, the theatre was credited for "outstanding performances" and a "welcoming" atmosphere with "West End quality" shows.
Jane Riley, Ipswich Borough Council portfolio holder for culture and customers, said: “At Ipswich Regent Theatre, we strive to create unforgettable experiences for our audiences, and being recognised with the Travellers' Choice Award once again is a reflection of our continuous efforts.
“We owe this achievement to our incredible audiences who continuously inspire us with their passion and support."
She praised staff for their "dedication and hard work".
“As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, Ipswich Regent Theatre remains dedicated to providing a diverse array of performances and events that captivate and inspire," she said.

Tripadvisor said Travellers’ Choice winners, external were "determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period".
"Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor," the website said.
Tripadvisor describes itself as "the world's largest travel platform", with more than "860 million reviews and opinions of 8.7 million accommodations, restaurants, experiences, airlines and cruises".
